The IBDP Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) Prep course is a structured, long-term program designed to support students taking both SL and HL Mathematics AA. With 20 lessons, each lasting 1.5 hours, the course delivers one full year’s worth of IB Mathematics AA content in a clear, logical, and exam-focused format.
This course is ideal for students who are about to begin IB Mathematics AA as well as those who are currently struggling to keep up. For beginners, the course builds strong mathematical foundations from the start. For current IB students, it focuses on closing gaps in understanding and replacing ineffective habits with efficient problem-solving strategies.
Throughout the course, students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and learn how to apply them accurately in IB-style questions. Emphasis is placed on logical reasoning, clear mathematical communication, and strategic problem-solving—skills essential for success in both SL and HL.
By the end of the program, students are equipped to approach IB Mathematics AA with confidence, consistency, and precision—aiming for Level 7 performance through strong conceptual understanding and exam-focused practice.
In this course, students will acquire the skills and knowledge required to succeed in IB Mathematics AA.
Build strong mathematical foundations
Students will develop a clear understanding of key topics across the syllabus, ensuring concepts are connected rather than memorized in isolation.
Apply concepts to IB-style problems
Students will learn how to tackle a wide range of IB questions, including algebraic manipulation, calculus, functions, trigonometry, statistics, and proof-based reasoning.
Strengthen logical and analytical thinking
The course emphasizes structured thinking and clear justification, helping students explain their reasoning accurately—especially important for HL questions.
Learn IB-specific exam strategies
Students will master command terms, time management, and mark allocation strategies to maximize scores in both short- and long-response questions.
Prepare for a Level 7 outcome
By combining conceptual clarity, consistent practice, and strategic exam preparation, students are positioned to achieve top-level results in both SL and HL Mathematics AA.
